Today (9/8) is the final day to fill out this short survey about the Leary/Market concept for connecting the Burke-Gilman Trail through Ballard.
In classic Seattle survey fashion, it asks a handful of questions the public really has no business determining. For example, how import is ADA accessibility during construction? Um, it’s legally required. Why would you ask us about this?

I assume that when all is said and done SDOT will make the area even worse of a car sewer than it already is, based on virtually every project in the city. I mean, just look at the development in lower Ballard and in Interbay, most of which looks like it belongs in Woodinville or Lynnwood (where I assume most SDOT employees live). I visit stores and doctor’s offices there all the time, and it is extremely unpleasant. And this project should have been finished 20 years ago.
