Burke-Gilman detour Saturday due to invasion of rolling children

I am so sick of these arrogant kindergartners riding around on the Burke-Gilman without paying their fair share! I pay for these trails with my taxes! That’s why it’s so great to finally see these tiny-wheeled freeloaders pitch in…

Seriously, though, be ready for a detour on the Burke-Gilman this Saturday, as over 200 children take to a section of the trail in Wallingford for the John Stanford International School Move-a-Thon. The kids gather pledges for how far they are going to ride, then they take to the Burke-Gilman on whatever wheels they prefer (bikes, roller skates, whatever).

The riding is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, so be ready to hop onto a side street to give them some space. Read more at My Wallingford.
