Caleb Shoop was a 19 year old graduate of Inglemoor High School who was struck and killed while biking in a crosswalk in Kenmore, WA on March 18th.

This will be a quiet, respectful group walk in his memory. You may bring a bicycle to wheel along with you to recognize Caleb’s love of getting around by bicycle but we will be walking.

We will meet at the Church of the Redeemer (6211 NE 182nd Street) where you can park your cars and will then walk along NE 181st St and 61st Ave NE to the crosswalk at NE 190th St.

The Shoop family is requesting that this be a respectful gathering. You are encouraged to make and bring signs to remember Caleb or bring flowers or anything else that you would like to leave at the collision site.

After the walk we will be having a Solutions Meeting at The Church of the Redeemer where we will meet with civic leaders, community members and family/friends of Caleb to discuss and explore ideas about what can be done to ensure that this type of tragedy, which happens all too often, does not happen again.
