A stretch of this well used trail needs clearing of blackberry overgrowth, removal of organic dirt/weeds on pavement along the edge, and of course litter.

This is not a huge project — no tree limbs, overgrown hedges etc.

Last fall I went out and worked on it a bit by myself and didn’t get far — about 10 feet exhausted me. But with more hands it won’t be such a big deal to knock it out and I know there are hundreds of people who use this recreation and commuter route that will THANK US!

The stretch that needs work is about 60-75 feet long. Trimming the blackberries back 3-4 feet from edge of sidewalk will be enough. The overgrowth covers nearly one third of the width of the trail at some points — so shoveling to find the edge of the pavement is needed.
