Please join Seattle Neighborhood Greenways for a memorial bike ride on on September 30th to honor Robb Mason’s memory, and to raise awareness of the ongoing need to invest in traffic safety improvements on the streets of Seattle.
The memorial ride will start at 5:30 PM at the City Hall Plaza, 600 4th Ave. We will ride slowly to the crash side at the base of the West Seattle Low Bridge.
Family members and friends will speak at the crash site and there will be a moment of silence.
We will be joined by Seattle Department of Transportation, Greg Spotts, and have invited other officials and members of the media.
Robb was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver near the Spokane Street Bridge while biking home from work on July 15th.
A massage therapist by profession, Robb was regarded as an astute empathetic clinician who made a positive difference in his clients’ lives. A sports enthusiast throughout his life, Robb enjoyed all sports, especially track and field, and spent countless hours cycling, hiking, and skiing through his beloved Pacific Northwest.
Robb was a loving husband, a caring friend, and a gentle soul. He is greatly missed by his family and friends
