A leisurely, no drop, party style ride along the lakefront starting at Stan Sayers, heading South to Seward Park, back up north to Mt Baker Beach, and then finish either at Stan Sayers (6 miles) or head into Columbia City (7 miles)

Some notes about the ride:

1. LWB is used as a high volume commuter route, 6pm is later than the peak, but there will still be impatient drivers on the route.

2. I’ve picked a weeknight on LWB because one of the goals of this ride is to raise awareness for the lack of safe north south routes in the Rainier Valley. This is, in my opinion, the safest north south route, but this isn’t a ride on back streets and drivers will likely be unhappy with our ride selection.

3. We will ride together, and if numbers of people justify it, the ride will use protest ride techniques such as corking side streets. However, individuals will be ultimately responsible for their safety.

4. This ride is not sponsored by any organization.
