There is going to be an advocacy ride to the Board of Park and Recreation Commissioners meeting at 6:30 pm on Thursday, May 9th. The goal is to get as many bicyclists as possible to attend the meeting and participate in the Public Comments portion of the meeting to show support for increasing the maintenance efforts on the Burke-Gilman trail in the City of Seattle that is managed by Seattle Parks and Recreation.
To accomplish this, there will be multiple rides starting at Matthew’s Beach, Gas Works, and any other location a ride leader would like to start from. These rides will meet up at 100 Dexter Ave N, Seattle, WA 98109.

Public comment is scheduled for 6:35 pm. To make public comment sign up ahead of time by emailing [email protected] before 5:00 pm on the day of the meeting.
