Looks like a lot of curb-cuts in that photo. On Google Maps I counted 16 cross streets and driveways on the east side of the road between 130th and 145th. There should be an effort to reduce that number — some of them are pretty redundant.
Al,
I spoke about this at length at the community meetings that we had and was told it was to facilitate seniors coming and going to businesses on Aurora.
I also spoke out strongly about the need to have cycle track warning signs prior to to the stop signs. The City traffic engineers in attendance said they’d look into it.
I ride this route five to seven times a week ad nd have prety much found that I will not be riding the track south.

That’s an awful excuse. The curb cuts could absolutely be consolidated into a somewhat smaller number of better-designed intersections without hampering access to business whatsoever.
Typical SDOT. It talks a good game on cycling until it comes time to execute, then it talks excuses.
