Spoke & Food looking for planning committee members

Spoke & Food is looking for more folks to serve on their planning committee. So if you like bikes, restaurants and gardens for children, this might just be the volunteer gig for you.

From Spoke & Food:

Seattle’s second annual Spoke & Food dining and biking event will take place on June 28th, 2011 and in prep for the event we’re looking to up the size of our planning committee for the event…We’re hoping to find 4-5 more people who like to bike and have fun to serve on our monthly planning group.

Spoke & Food is a city-wide event held in a number of Seattle area neighborhoods where members of our community bike to and from dinner on the night of our event. We partner with a range of host restaurants who agree to donate 20% of their revenues to the non-profit benefactor we select each year. Last year’s event supported the Lettuce Link program at Solid Ground. This year’s event will support the Children’s Garden program at Seattle Tilth.

Anyone interested in serving on the planning committee can email us at [email protected].

Full details on the event available at www.spokeandfood.com.
