So I’m told there’s some bike race going on somewhere right now. I guess it’s kind of a big deal. However, I don’t have a TV, so all I’ve seen of it so far are two bikers fighting, one using a bike wheel (not my weapon of choice, but OK).

Not that I’ve had to remember it, but I do remember the advice of .83 (on twitter): “U-locks are melee weapons, not ranged.” To which I would add, “Unless thrown. In which case, single-use ranged.”
