Bike News Roundup: Can’t we all just get along?

Complete Streets: It’s About More Than Just Bike Lanes from Streetfilms on Vimeo.

It has happened again. I waited far too long to do a news roundup, and now it’s a mile long. Maybe you all can help me out by posting in the comments which day of the week you would prefer the roundup to come out (not Monday because that’s when Bike Portland’s roundup comes out. I don’t want to over-roundup the Pacific Northwest).

That Fremont detour is the route I take pretty much every time I ride the Burke. The sharp/blind turns (under the bridge, the backside of the rowing club building) and very heavy ped traffic make the Quadrant section of the trail horrible for riding with any speed. And IIRC that was more or less the official BGT route before Quadrant was developed in the early ’90s.

I think Thursday would be a good roundup day.
