SLOW Ride to Chief Sealth Trail
If you are new, please read our newcomer information.
Northwest African American Museum by I-90 Trail
2300 So. Massachusetts Street
This SLOW Ride with Senior Ladies On Wheels takes us to the rolling Chief Sealth Trail by way of the I-90 Trail, the Beacon Hill Greenway and Jefferson Park. We’ll ride the Chief Sealth Trail to Othello where we’ll stop for lunch (if the weather’s great, we may eat in Othello Park). Depending on our mood, we may ride back the way we came, wander through quiet South Seattle neighborhood streets, or just put our bikes on the Light Rail and ride back to Beacon Hill (from there we can coast down to our starting point). The Chief Sealth Trail has some impressive ups and downs – but there’s no shame in getting off and walking for a stretch. Senior Ladies On Wheels welcome all riders of all ages, male or female, as long as you ride S.L.O.W.! We stay together, no rain cancellation (although if it’s really pouring we may choose a shorter ride!). The slowest rider sets the pace – don’t worry, we won’t hurry!
