Seattle Neighborhood Greenways built a coalition of nine non-profits in a partner organization called the Community Package Coalition, which seeks meaningful public benefits toward enhanced open space, ped and bike improvements, and affordable housing
in exchange for the street and alley vacations the convention center
expansion would require.
The groups include Capitol Hill Housing, Freeway Park Association, Cascade Bike Club, Melrose Promenade, First Hill Improvement Association, Feet First, Housing Development Consortium, The Urbanist, Central Seattle Greenways, Lid I-5, and Seattle Neighborhood Greenways.
