Log-in and dial-in information for the online meeting is provided once you have registered for the event. Learn more about the system requirements for using Google Meet. Depending on what browser you use or if your call-in from a phone, you may need to download an app.

Speaker Forum Format & Agenda:

Held by Google Meet, the meeting will be structured as follows:

First 30 Minutes:
5:00pm, Welcome & brief announcements by Brock Howell, GLWSS chair
5:05pm, Dan Strauss introductory remarks
5:10pm, Brock asks a set of questions to Dan
5:20pm, Questions from the Audience, Submitted first into the Chat, Moderated by Brock

Second 30 Minutes:
5:30pm, Updates & Discussions on GLWSS’s Priorities & Projects, including the 45th Street Bridge, Major Repaving Project, Stay Healthy Streets, etc.
6pm, Absolute Hard End to Meeting.

If you have a question for Brock to ask Councilmember Strauss during the forum, please email him at [email protected] so he can add it to the list of potential questions.

Future meetings will be scheduled as opportunities arise.  With all of us staying home, now is a great time to have video-based speakers, so we might do these as often as once per week — but we’ll probably limit the meetings to 30 minutes total, cutting out the second half discussions.  Let me know if you have ideas for guest speakers that you’d like to have in the future.
