Great post, great links! Interesting to read the comments on the posts about Japan – there are a few people out there who are outraged that anyone would say positive things about bikes during a horrible disaster. It seems to me, after reading about the run on bikes in Japan, that a bike should be a component of every home emergency kit. The people who bought all the bikes in Tokyo were not trying to win points for bikes in the War on Cars – they were just trying to get home.
