2nd Ave getting upgrades + Extension to Denny possible this year

After nearly a year and a half as a pilot project, the 2nd Ave bike lane is getting some significant — and hopefully more comfortable and attractive — upgrades. Times: Innovative 5th Ave bikeway and public space in the works

Here’s an idea that’s incredibly obvious and way overdue: Shift parking on 5th Ave underneath the monorail columns, then use the skinny lane to the west to create a fully protected bikeway and expand the neighborhood space. Bicycle Pull-Apart owner charged with four counts of trafficking stolen property

Bicycle Pull-Apart owner Eric Patchen has been charged for trafficking stolen property following a Seattle Police investigation this spring that allegedly linked him and his Belltown shop to $10,000 worth of stolen bikes.
