Details from Rainier Valley Food Bank:
This summer we are excited to announce RVFB’s 4th annual Urban Ag Bike Tour in partnership with Bike Works. Participants have the opportunity to choose from THREE tour dates! That’s three routes and three opportunities for cyclists of all levels to learn about our Southeast Seattle food system.
We will ride roughly 5 miles at a leisurely pace to local school gardens, farms, p-patches, fruit orchards, and the place where this healthy produce meets the people who need it most: Rainier Valley Food Bank! Don’t own a bike? Just email [email protected] for free bike/electric bike/cargo bike rentals from Familybike Seattle. The ride is completely FREE and family friendly. Riders ages 12-18 are welcome on their own bikes with a guardian present, and children of any age are welcome on bike seats/tandems/trailer/trailing bikes/cargo bikes. Register for one of the rides listed below before they fill up!
