On Saturday, September 14th, cyclists throughout the region will be taking part in the American Lung Association of Washington’s second annual Ride Around the Sound bike ride. With two different fully-supported route options available ranging from 30 miles to 75 miles, participants have the opportunity to experience the beautiful Puget Sound area while joining in the fight against lung disease. For those who are looking for a bit of challenge, extra loops are available for both routes. Once completed, all participants will board a ferry from Southworth to West Seattle where they will end their day with a finish line party to celebrate the ride and relax with family and friends. This benefit for the American Lung Association is perfect as a personal challenge or as an opportunity to ride together with friends, family, and coworkers. Proceeds help prevent and cure lung disease as well as promote lung health through education, advocacy and research. Registration is $40 per rider. Volunteers who are not riding may register for free. Register today at: www.RideAroundtheSound.org!
