As part of our celebration of BikeWorks Week at Flying Bike, join us tonight for a talk about Long Distance Bike Touring: Join FBCB Member David Wiegand as he presents his experiences & knowledge gained about bicycle touring, including highlights from a 4,763 mile cross country trip From Seattle to Quebec (via Boston), as well as a summer 2019 West Coast trip to Santa Barbara, CA. Find out what preparations one needs to make, planning & gear considerations, and the logistics to take into account when setting out for your bike trip of a lifetime!
The presentation will start at 7 PM. Come early to grab a seat and a pint of our hazy blend: Two Hazies, Endless Possibilities named for the Bike Works Youth Programming Initiative. One dollar of every pint sold of this beer for the week will benefit this great local organization.
