The Lake to Lake Bike Ride Is Coming!!!! June 15, 2013
The Bike Ride benefits the City of Bellevue youth camp scholarship fund. The ride starts and finishes at Lake Hill Park 1200 – 164th Ave SE and takes you to and through some of Bellevue’s award winning parks and showcases some great areas to ride in the area.
The routes utilize a combination of low traffic roads, bike lanes and gravel trails. A bike that can handle a variety of terrain is recommended. The routes are fun and appealing to all levels. The mostly flat, shorter, approximately 8 mile loop is perfect for a family or less experienced cyclist. The longer loop is 22 miles with some challenging climbs. We have tweaked the courses to offer a bit more trails and a better route through downtown Bellevue on the longer loop.
Chaplin’s Subaru has once again stepped up to be the title sponsor. Escape Outdoors is our Silver level sponsor. We are pleased to announce we are partnering with the Cycle the Wave event this year. Other event sponsors are, Escape Outdoors, Skout Trail nutrition bars, John Duggan Law, Whole Foods, Honest Tea, Crunch Fitness, Sports Authority, and Optimal Health Chiropractic. Event supporters include Gregg’s Cycle, Starbucks, Stone Gardens, Running Elements, Top Pot Doughnuts, Half Pops, Pace Sportswear and SOS socks. We will have post event refreshments and a prize give away.
Pre- entry is only $12, day of event, $17. This ride is NOT suggested for children under 8 years old unless riding in a trailer or tag-along. All participants receive a Pace brand custom bike hat, and goodies.
The first 150 to register will receive custom event socks by SOS socks!
