This month we will be riding from Alexander Graham Bell Elementary PTSA to Padria Mediterranean Café and Schnoo Yogurt (http://shnooyogurt.com/findus.html) in Juanita Village.

Padria is a great neighborhood restaurant that is cozy, serves delicious and healthy Mediterranean and Turkish dishes, and is family friendly, serving the Juanita Neighborhoods and all of the Eastside. Owner and chef Shay adds her personal touches to the menu. They have a wide selection of food items including vegetarian, gluten-free options, a kids menu as well as all-time kid staples: french fries and skewers of various meats. See their menu here: http://www.padriacafe.com/menus/lunch-and-dinner/

Schnoo Yogurt is a great little shop which provides a healthy alternative for your sweet tooth. They have many yogurt and ice cream options as well as several gluten-free and vegan options.

We will be riding along the proposed Forbes Creek Greenway which has relatively low traffic volumes and bicycle lanes the whole way to Juanita Bay Park where we will take the Old Market St Trail up to Juanita Village.

We will once again have prizes to draw from several great local businesses who care about creating a Kirkland which is safe and comfortable for people of All Ages and Abilities to get around on foot, by bicycle, by wheelchair or medical scooter, and any other mode of active transport.

*KIRKLAND BUSINESSES interested in DONATING PRIZES for this month’s free drawing, please contact* [email protected]
