Ride Description:
SheBikes to the Movies: Roanoke Tavern to Central Cinema to see The Triplets of Belleville
Let’s bike to the movies! We’ll meet at Roanoke Park Place Tavern (2409 10th Ave E, Seattle), http://www.yelp.com/biz/roanoke-park-place-tavern-seattle) at 5:45 p.m. We’ll depart at 6:00 p.m. and ride to Central Cinema (1411 21st Ave, Seattle), Seattle’s only dine-in cinema, to see a 7:00 p.m. showing of the The Triplets of Belleville in honor of Bike Everywhere Month. (Trailer )
The group ride will only take about 30 minutes, so we’ll grab a drink and some food at Central Cinema before the movie starts.
The details:
The movie starts at 7:00 p.m. and runs for approximately 78 minutes. Ride leaders Robin and Mary will ride north to Phinney Ridge and Wedgwood, respectively, after the movie ends if you want folks to ride with.
Food and beverages are available at Central Cinema before, during and after the show. Central Cinema is a Cascade business member, so show your Cascade membership card to get free popcorn.
This is a night ride, so all riders need to have a front white light and (at least) a rear red reflector. And remember to bring a lock (u-locks preferred!).
You can purchase tickets ($7 each) either online beforehand or in person. If you have a Bicycle Benefits sticker, you can get two for one admission! To buy tickets online before the movie, go to http://central-cinema.com/calendar/ and navigate to the May 8th movie showing.
