2020-03-07T09:00:00-08:00
2020-03-07T12:00:00-08:00
Where:
Corner of S Forest St. and Rainier Ave S

Every month volunteers gather to collect garbage and help beautify our neighborhood. On average, we collect about 15 bags of garbage per clean up, which means 1,000’s of small pieces of plastic that do not find their way into Puget Sound.

Seattle friends and neighbors!! Please join us for our ongoing ‘First Saturday’ of the month clean-up effort,

Join us as we work toward our goal for 2020 – 350 bags of waste! This weekend will be a big push toward this goal, starting with First Saturday:

WHEN:   9am – 12pm on Saturday, March 7th
WHERE:   Corner of S Forest St. and Rainier Ave S

Then, we will continue south of the station for Second Sunday. These are some of our most fun clean ups as we explore new areas and get to know our businesses!

WHEN: 9am – 12pm on Sunday, March 8th
WHERE: Corner of S Hanford St. and MLK Jr Way S.

Second Sunday Clean Ups…

We will be distributing all the materials you need to participate, including gloves, pickers, and bags. Wear weather appropriate clothes, especially good shoes. This will be a great opportunity to start volunteering with our clean ups, and we hope to see some new faces. See you, rain or shine, next to the water ox mural at Hoa Mai Preschool on Saturday 3/7 and outside Baked from the Hart on Sunday 3/8!
