Do you care about climate change and the environment? Have you ever wondered what you could personally do to effect political change when acting as an individual sometimes seems inadequate?
We’ve been there. But now we want to work with you to get the attention of policymakers. We can’t wait for politicians to make bold moves for the environment. We have to do it now, ourselves.
Join 350 Seattle for an evening at a local brewery to learn about how we can act together to spark political action by meeting and lobbying our legislators about environmental issues such as the Clean Air Rule, a proposed act regulating emissions in WA from polluters like ExxonMobile. We’ll discuss how you can take action and have an impact NOW as a citizen advocate meeting with your elected legislator.
We will form Civic Action Teams that can work together to discuss environmental issues with their legislators to ensure that policies such as science-based greenhouse gas emission reductions are considered high priority policies.
