Broadview-Thomson Safe Routes to School Walkabout
Please join in a fun and informative walking tour around the school on Wednesday, June 6th. Parent, student, and community insights and experiences are critical and will make a difference to the kind of safety improvements the City invests in.
Where and when: Wednesday, June 6, we’ll meet by the flagpole at 1:10. Look for the people wearing yellow vests.
Who should come? Students, parents, staff, and folks from the local community!
What will we do? Pretty simple. We’ll walk around the area of the school as a group. Together, we’ll observe any trouble areas (and also what works particularly well!) regarding kids being able to walk the route to school safely.
The City of Seattle is providing us with iPads so that we can take photographs along the way as well.
Please send me an email to say if you plan to attend: [email protected]
Thank you in advance for your help!
