This month we will be doing YVYC (“Your Voice, Your Choice”) voting! YVYC is a park or street improvement grant and the Seattle Department of Neighborhoods is asking the public to pick their favorite projects and in 2018 they’ll get built! We’ll discuss the projects on Beacon Hill and the rest of District 2 and the allow for voting by hand (you can also vote online at the below link).

“Your Voice, Your Choice” is a grant program offered by the Department of Neighborhoods to purchase park or street improvements. This can include things like a crosswalk or new park equipment. This is the last stage of the process where the public votes on what it wants. This follows a few months of process where people submited ideas and the helped rank them to a top 8-10. Voting is open to High School students as well.

Additionally after voting we will have updates about Columbian Ave projects, SDOT updates on MLK signal timing, and lastly updates on the North Beacon Hill transportation study.

Hope to see you there.
