The event will have bike mechanics on site at the start to assist with safety checks and minor repairs. All riders must wear helmets.
Prizes: Post-event prize giveaway. All participants will receive a custom-designed event t shirt and various freebies at the post-event prize giveaway.
This new hire is a big step for the shop and means CBRR will be able to offer more classes and skill-building to the community.

To guarantee a good paying job while ensuring tuition remains based on a sliding scale, CBRR is hosting an event on Saturday, May 14th: a “Teacher Fund(ay)”. The goal is to raise funds to guarantee teachers will receive pay at a rate of $50/hour. As part of the Fund(ay), there will be multiple bike races, food, a marketplace featuring artists and craftspeople as well as sales of new and used components, finished bicycles, “project bicycles” (to be built or finished), wheelsets and tools.
