UPDATE 2/4: Orgnaizers have decided to cancel the planned #BikeLove party Thursday. Be on the lookout for details about an April 2 event.
Details on the cancellation from WAbikes:
After reviewing the weather report that predicts some stiff winds in addition to 100% chance of rain, and considering the combination of wind with a welding bike art sculptor and pop-up canopies, we decided we were better off postponing it since we didn’t want to add a fire display.
April 2 makes a great date for a bike event as the second day of 30 Days of Biking.
…
All the partners we had for Feb. 5 are committed for April 2: Zipcar Seattle, Cycle Pronto, Hilliard’s Beer, International Sustainability Institute & Alley Network Project, Back Alley Bike Repair, Washington Bikes.
Early heads-up for First Thursday May 7, too: Washington Bikes will hold a Bike Happy Hour as one of the four that Cascade Bicycle Club promotes during National Bicycle Month.
Bikes, art and love. I don’t really know what more I need to say.
Join Pronto! Cycle Share, Washington Bikes, Zipcar, Back Alley Bike Repair, Hilliard’s Beer and Attoparsec for the third annual #BikeLove party as part of the Pioneer Square’s February First Thursday Art Walk.
Show up in Nord Alley (north of Jackson just east of 1st) by 6 p.m. if you want to join folks on a 20-30 minute ride. If you skip the ride, the party will get going back in Nord Alley around 6:30.
