Position Summary: The Development Director, in partnership with the Executive Director and Board of Directors, is responsible for meeting or exceeding the organization’s annual fundraising goals. This position provides direction and establishes priorities for a variety of areas within development including the annual campaign, major gifts, foundation grants, corporate sponsorships, special events, and agency marketing and communications. The Development Director is also key member of Bike Works Leadership Team providing direction around strategic development and organizational culture.

Classification: Full Time Exempt, plus benefits

Accounting and HR Clerk at Cascade Bicycle Club

We are looking for a talented Accounting and HR Clerk to join our finance and operations team to support all the activities of Cascade Bicycle Club. The accounting and HR clerk must love numbers, be attentive to detail, be responsive to queries, be able to track and maintain HR files, be proactive and willing to take on additional duties as needed in support of an excellent team.

Layout designer for the Cascade Courier

Are you an InDesign rockstar? Did you know that there was such a thing? Well, Cascade is hiring someone to work once a month to pull together their member newspaper. Details:

We are looking for a part-time layout designer to help the Communications team. This person will be responsible for laying out Cascade’s monthly newsletter, the Cascade Courier. This is a once-a-month assignment, ranging between 20 and 30 hours.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in laying out professional newspapers, newsletter or magazine
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Pocess a basic understanding of print production and preparing files for newspaper print
  • Must be able to meet deadlines, have attention to detail, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be local (Seattle area) and willing to come into the office two days a month

Pay: flat rate per issue to be discussed
