If you didn’t get enough Pioneer Square party yesterday, then you’re in luck. Washington Bikes is hosting their second annual Bike Love Party as part of the neighborhood’s First Thursday Art Walk.

Beer, food, music, art, bikes … I assume you don’t need any more convincing.

The party will go from 5:30 – 9 p.m. at WA Bikes HQ (1st and Jackson).

More details from WA Bikes:

Bicyclists, Zipsters, Art-lovers & Assorted Romantics: Come on down to Washington Bikes in Pioneer Square for the Second Annual #BikeLove Party on Thursday, February 6! Enjoy complimentary drinks courtesy of our local friends at Hilliard’s Beer, live tunes from Seattle musicians and mouthwatering appetizers from Veggie Grill. Mix and mingle with other lovers of bicycling throughout the Nord Alley building and AXIS Pioneer Square’s expansive gallery while tattoo artists create original designs on three Timbuk2 bike bags, one of which we’ll raffle off to a lucky winner.

Start 2014 on the right wheel and come feel the #BikeLove during Pioneer Square Seattle’s iconic First Thursday Art Walk. We look forward to seeing you and raising a glass!

Co-Hosts include: Zipcar®, Timbuk2, Hilliard’s Beer, Veggie Grill, Back Alley Bike Repair, International Sustainability Institute, and AXIS.

  1. If you missed it this year, mark your calendar NOW for next year’s Feb. First Thursday. We’re definitely making this an annual tradition. What a blow-out and what an awesome time! Bike people know how to party.

Many thanks to sponsors Zipcar, Timbuk2, Back Alley Bike Repair, and Axis, and special thanks to Hilliard’s Beer and Veggie Grill for the beer & goodies.

We gave away one of the Timbuk2 bags with original art by tattoo artists that night. We’ll put the other two up in an online auction we’ll hold this spring, so stay tuned if you want the chance to win one-of-a-kind messenger bags.
