City holding 12 Bicycle Sundays this year, first one is May 5

photo-13On select Sundays during summer for the past 45 years, the city has been transforming a section of Lake Washington Boulevard in south Seattle into a biking, walking and playing celebration.

Bicycle Sunday is one of the oldest open streets events in the country, and hundreds of people flock to the street to enjoy one of Seattle’s most beautiful streets without cars.

Below are the 2013 Bicycle Sunday dates:

  1. I made a Google Calendar of all 2013 Bike Sunday events, so your readers can add them all to their calendars with one click. I’ve never done this before so hopefully it works.
