Go Means Go’s summer solstice Nine to Five all-night scavenger hunt Saturday

Most people celebrate the summer solstice as the longest day of the year (painting their bodies and worshiping the sun, etc). But in Seattle, Go Means Go celebrates it as the shortest night with the all-night scavenger hunt dubbed the Nine to Five.

The ride starts tomorrow (Saturday) at Gas Works. Meet at 8, ride at sunset (9:10). It costs $15 to register, which you can do now online.

June 16th 2012, 7:30pm we’ll gather at Gasworks Park. There you’ll pick up your scavenger hunt pack, we’ll take a big ol’ photo of all attendees. At 9pm- you’re off!

Ride all night in Seattle’s only all-bicycle sunset-to-sunrise scavenger hunt! Organize your team of up to five or ride solo to complete/collect as many items as you can before sun up while joining group meetups throughout the night for caffeine and snacks, and a full breakfast in the morning. A celebration of our city and bicycles!

Darn, this comes a little late for me. I mean in terms of years!! Don’t think I’ll be riding all night unless something awful mean is chasing me!

Can’t wait! I’ll be manning the video camera and chugging coffee all night long!

Wish we had more advanced notice on this. I think I would have done it.
