Vancouver team wins 2011 World Hardcourt Bike Polo Championships

The Crazy Canucks from East Vancouver took the top spot at the 2011 World Hardcourt Bike Polo Championships, closing out a busy week of polo at Magnuson Park. The Canucks beat out Call Me Daddy from France in sudden death.

Seattle’s Guardians took third place, keeping the tournament’s hometown on the podium. In all, I had a fantastic time watching mind-blowing bike polo played by people from all other world in many different languages.

I shot video of the Guardians scoring to beat the Iron Ponies to advance to the semifinals. They would go on to lose to Call Me Daddy.
