Calling all two-wheeled Seattle shutterbugs: We know you are taking great photos, and we want to see them. For this reason, we are launching the Seattle by Bike Flickr pool.

Join the group and start adding your best photos to the pool. The three most recent entries will appear on the Seattle Bike Blog sidebar, and a selection of the photos may be featured in some kind of sweet photo roundup (always with the proper credit and links, of course). It’s a way to share the photos you take with all those other people riding bikes around Seattle with you.

So what kinds of photos would fit well in the pool? That’s really up to you. A couple ideas would be your best photos of people riding bikes, bike events and rides, bicycles in nature, scenery and things as seen from the saddle, illustrations about bicycles, elements of bicycle culture, “cycle chic” bicycle fashion and bicycle infrastructure. Funny photos, beautiful photos, gritty photos, whatever.

Riding bicycles in Seattle is a stunning experience in many ways. Get out there and try to capture a piece of it.
