Bike to Work Day commute station locations and schedule

Friday is Bike to Work (and School!) Day with commute stations set up all over the region, a Summer Streets party in Ballard and a ride with the mayor from Fremont to downtown.

Seriously, everyone should bike to work Friday. Urge a friend or coworker to give it a shot, too. It’s a welcoming, fun and empowering atmosphere on the roads, and it’s inspiring to see so many people doing something as simple as getting to and from work under their own power.

Here’s a short schedule of major events for the day:

*Commute stations, 6 – 9 a.m.

*Mayor’s Ride, 7:15 – 7:45 a.m.

*Rally at City Hall, 7:30 – 8:30 a.m.

*F5 Bike to Work Day After Party in Ballard, 4 – 7 p.m.

Cascase Bicycle Club has even put together this handy map of commute station locations:
