It was a bike theft buffet along Madison this week. And by buffet, I of course mean that this statistically questionable map of bike theft police reports shows several there.

In general, there were a lot more reports this week than in past weeks. However, that could just be changes in how the reports go through the system, an increase in reports (vs increase in thefts), Capitol Hill Block Party or whatever (and, sorry West Seattle, still no data. I’m working on it…slowly).

But still, if you live near Green Lake or along Madison and are considering the purchase of an all carbon fiber bike, well…
