Gran Fondo- Walk, run or cycle to #finishcancerww

Events:
5k Fun Run/Walk
Metric Century 62-mile bicycle ride
Celebration Ride 35-mile bicycle ride

The cause
The Gran Fondo (the Great Ride) helps our friends, neighbors and loved ones who are fighting cancer. One hundred percent of the funds raised stay local to benefit the Cancer Special Needs Fund of Providence St. Mary Foundation. This special fund provides our most vulnerable patients with gas cards, wigs, medication, rent and utility assistance and other supportive items not covered by insurance.

The event
Gran Fondo takes place on the beautiful campus of Walla Walla Community College. Participants choose from two cycling events or a 5k fun run/walk (departure times vary for each event). You’re encouraged to wear any and all of the colors of cancer (the wilder, the better) to symbolize our purpose and celebrate survivors. Although the type of cancer that affects each of us may be different, we stand united to #finishcancer.

After you ride, walk or run, join us for a community celebration from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Participants (and non-participants) are invited to purchase food from the WWCC food truck and enjoy live, on-site broadcasting from Capps Broadcast Group.
