Let’s meet at 10:30 at Othello Park, then ride to King Donut (1.7 miles on Neighborhood Greenways). Depending on the weather, after that we can go to the Rainier Beach Library, or Beer Sheva Park. After that, come over to Morgan’s house (near Othello Park) for a winter gear DIY workshop (1:30-4:00)! We’ll waterproof lot’s of stuff with wax and lanolin (bring leather, wool, or cotton for waterproofing), show off ponchos, and make helmuffs (earmuffs that go on helmet straps).

Come just for the ride, just for the workshop, or to both! Both are free, though donations to Familybike Seattle are welcome and support additional programming. DIY materials (fabric, wax, lanolin, etc…) available to purchase…plan for $5-$20 depending on your projects.
