Ride Description:
Invitation: If you’re new and interested to get going for the long days of summer months, let’s go ride! It beats walking and much more beneficial to your knees. Join me in discovering the neighborhood bike paths for health and good company.
Start location: We will meet near the playground in the Paine Field Community Park.
Reststop: We will have a short break at mid point and as needed.
Expectations (important, please read!): Arrive at least 20 minutes before the start of the ride to sign the waiver and be part of the safety briefing. S.M.A.R.T. riding is the standard and all riders are held accountable for doing their best to adhere to these; we want to be awesome representatives of the bike community in Snohomish County and be safe!
Front and rear lights are highly recommended! Riders should be able to maintain the posted pace. We regroup occasionally. Riders have to be independent when they have a flat and/or mechanical. In case you get separated from the group bring a charged cellphone if possible. All riders are responsible to promote a great experience by having a positive attitude, having fenders when the roads are wet or rain is in the forecast, enjoying the beauty we are surrounded by and just by having fun! Steady rain/snow cancels the ride. If the ride is canceled, it will be posted by 6:30am in the comment section. In that case the ride leader(s) will not be at the start.
