Ride Description:
Take an afternoon to explore Tacoma in this ramble that meets at the Tacoma Dome light rail station and heads out to Point Defiance and the Narrows Bridges. We’ll ride along Tacoma’s waterfront out to the Vashon ferry terminal, then stop for a picnic lunch in Point Defiance Park. From there we’ll ride city streets to the Narrows Bridges, and ride across the bridge for its great views. Then we’ll come back through the University of Puget Sound neighborhood and skirt the edge of downtown to return to Freighthouse Square. Pack a lunch for our mid-ride picnic.
