Seattle
As 2016 is well into it’s last quarter, it is time to take a look at what Duwamish Valley Safe Streets has accomplished as a group so far, and where we want to focus in the coming months and year ahead. DVSS is open to all people, especially those who live, work, do business and play in Seattle’s Duwamish Valley neighborhoods.
We will meet to will talk about…
•The Duwamish Valley Greenway network, and the scouting and mapping work done so far as well as the work ahead.
•What other improvements and visioning projects are going on in the valley at the moment and how they relate to our work.
•The need to identify our top priorities for advocacy in 2017.
Duwamish Valley Safe Streets is a local chapter of Seattle’s Neighborhood Greenways organization that advocates for safe-streets for all.
We’re focused on connecting safe bicycle and pedestrian routes, especially to schools, parks, and businesses.
The new Duwamish Valley chapter (est. August 2016) is a joint effort between South Park and Georgetown.
