Join the discussion on May 7 about urban design and transportation for Ballard Urban Village
SEATTLE – The community is invited to an open house this week to discuss plans for urban design and transportation improvements for the Ballard Urban Village. The meeting will be an opportunity to comment on draft recommendations for land use and urban design in the district, to identify near-term improvements for all forms of transportation, and to evaluate potential future station locations for high capacity transit (such as for light rail or streetcar).

The Seattle Department of Planning and Development and the Seattle Department of Transportation are working with the community to develop a shared vision to guide future development and transportation investments while preserving and supporting industrial and commercial employment in Ballard.
