This SLOW Ride with Senior Ladies On Wheels takes us to the Pike Place Market along a comfortable, low-traffic route and the new Second Avenue Protected Bike Lane. Here’s the route on Map My Ride: http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/557453624. It’s 6.75 miles round trip.
We’ll stop for lunch in Victor Steinbruck Park; riders can bring a lunch or pick up something in the Pike Place Market. Rain won’t stop us – but may lead us to choose an indoor spot for lunch.
If you’ve always thought you’d NEVER ride a bike in Downtown Seattle, this ride is designed to change your mind. As always, we stay together; the slowest rider sets the pace, and there’s no shame in walking your bike up hills. Don’t worry, we won’t hurry!

Senior Ladies On Wheels welcome all riders of all ages, male or female, as long as you ride S.L.O.W.! We stay together, no rain cancellation (although if it’s really pouring we may choose a shorter ride!). The slowest rider sets the pace – don’t worry, we won’t hurry!
