About Tom

I’m an independent journalist originally from St. Louis, Missouri who, aside from this blog, also writes for Central District News. I ride a 1983 Nishiki International purchased on the cheap. It’s not flashy, but it goes when I need it and I love it.

Outside of writing, I am co-founder of Hoot House Productions, a recording studio and entertainment production company based in North Seattle. I am also co-writer of “The Lonely Kazoo: A Synthetic Journey to Heaven“, a rock opera about coming of age as a plastic post-consumer product.
