    Lots of good advice for any documentary film maker in this video. It doesn’t replace getting out there with your camera and shooting some footage, editing it and then showing it to your friends for review, but it will save you a lot of mis-steps.

    Also be sure to “clap” loudly at the beginning of filming so you have a marker to align the sound with the video. (that’s the other use of those “clap” boards besides having a sign with which take it is.)
